Workshop application deadline fast approaching!

Calling all creative coders, artists, VJs and digital designers! This Friday 12 June is the last day to sign up for the Coded Matter(s) #9 workshop ‘Ways of Seeing (with Computers)’ led by Elliot Woods.

This two-day workshop will take place 17 and 18 June in the studio of De Brakke Grond. Conducted by forerunner Elliot Woods of Seoul-based art studio Kimchi and Chips, this hands-on programme will present an advanced introduction to Rulr, an open source node-based application for calibrating artistic devices with the physical world.

Workshop participants will work in groups to conceive and build a model scene using projectors, structured light scanning and volumetric shading techniques, as well as simple materials such as thread, paper, and foam board. Expect exciting results! Together we’ll learn new ways to draw in the air, develop volumetric canvases and build semi-material sculptures using Digital Emulsion techniques. Check out all the details and prices on this intensive workshop here.
