Workshop ‘Ways of Seeing (with Computers)’ a success!
Since yesterday, participants of Elliot Woods’s workshop ‘Ways of Seeing (with Computers)’ have been learning how to calibrate a camera, a Kinect and a projector together in order to light scan an object, and extract a structural 3D image. Using the open source toolkit Rulr, participants worked in teams of two, scanning objects made out of 3D prints or paper. This afternoon, they dove into the vvvv environment to use this calibration, wrapping up a solid two days of work.
